mikayla amoroso '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Mikayla Amoroso and I would like to play college basketball. Basketball has been in my life since I was 4 years old. I have always wanted to play basketball. I would watch players like Maya Moore and Candace Parker. My cousin played division 1 basketball and I would like to follow in her footsteps. My mom, grandmother, and sister have been my biggest supporters for me. They sacrifice their time and money for me to get to my dream. I do everything for them; I play for them.

My coaches would describe me as a strong, tough, high IQ, capable of playing multiple positions, vocal leader,and good vision. I have been with the same coaches, Mike Slade and Will Watkins, since I was in fourth grade. They have seen me at my darkest moments and have never given up on me. They have their complete faith in me and now it’s my turn to show them I can live up to what they know I can be.
