My goal for college is to be challenged athletically and academically, as I am an extremely competitive person with anything I set my mind to. I started playing basketball in second grade. I have grown to love basketball not only for the athleticism involved, but also because the game has allowed me to meet, and become friends with, so many people from different backgrounds who share the same love of the game.
I have been told by many of my coaches that I have a high basketball IQ, and I always strive to set a good example for my teammates, by being one of the hardest working people on the court. I have set a goal for myself to play college basketball at the highest level I possibly can, while challenging myself academically. To quote Michael Jordan, "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, but I can't accept not trying."
