As starting basketball at a young age, i’ve always inspired to be something more than just good, but in order to be great comes hard work and dedication! You’re not going to succeed at anything, and that’s what has got me so far! Failure is only going to make you better and you just have to work at it harder and harder everytime you fall! I have learned throughout my eight or so years of basketball that it’s not a “ME” sport! It’s not just so much about being a singular player and seeing what you can do, it’s more like what can I do to better my teammates around me! So, I live my life on the purpose of never giving up! Everything happens for a reason and with that being said, giving up is never really the option if you love whatever your doing way too much! Basketball can be a sport of reward, but also can be a sport of defeat. In order to become the best player you possibly can be, you got to not only focus on your physical game, but also your mental game. You are going to be the one that decides what you do in life, and I take pride in that! I am choosing to do basketball in college, if I get the opportunity to, because I am a fighter. I get that I don't have the height, but I do have the heart. I have learned to set my differences aside and to work on improving my game, which therefore can impact improving others' game!
