Makenna Oudekerk '28 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’’9 power forward/wing 9th grader in Albert Lea, MN with the ability to also play point guard when needed. I have strong ball handling skills and can shoot at all 3 ranges, but finishing under the hoop is probably my best take. I have a strong work ethic and practice year round whether it’s at home, at the family YMCA, at practice, or with my personal trainer. Since a very young age I have had a strong passion for playing basketball. I have always enjoyed shooting the ball and dribbling on my own and staying fit. I work very hard at all of these things, pushing myself to improve each time. I like to be a leader and helping my teammates comes naturally. I was chosen as offensive player of the year for my team this season and what an honor that is to me! 

I am so excited to see how much I can grow in the next years through high school and continue in to my college playing years. I have a dream to play college basketball and also continue my education in the sports industry with athletic training or something similar.  I would love to see if I am a good fit for your school. I will continue to set goals and attain them through training and hard work.
