Hello my name is Jaydia Morris, im a Senior that has been playing varsity since the 9th grade. I also, been playing basketball since I was 4 years old, I began to love the game of basketball by watching Kobe Bryant and Maya Moore. Those two people have taught me a lot about the game of basketball just like my mother and father have too.
I play majority of all positions on the court. I’m very versatile. I can finish, score, get defensive stops, see the floor, set up players in positions to score, rebound, and give that spark that can get your teammates going.
With that being said, basketball has led me to grow up to become a young lady, learn a lot of life lessons, and sacrifices that have been made. What I want for myself on a collegiate level for college is to set goals in each class to be prepared and challenge myself on higher standard, time management, take extra courses, and study extra than before. For basketball, change my work ethic, mindset and physicality. I want to be more than a basketball player and athlete. I need people to know me outside of basketball, my name is more than just Jaydia Morris. What makes me different from other recruits and basketball players is everyone wants to be great and go professional, I want to be legendary for the work I put in to be different and unique from other people. I am different, and that what I will prove to people what sets me aside to be Jaydia .
One name, one opportunity and more than a million other people out to take it...
