Personal Statement
It is an important goal of mine to take my basketball career to the next level with intercollegiate basketball. In high school, I had a GPA of 3.963 and my overall ranking was 22/136, I was also a member of the National Honor Society and Osage Honors Academy. My senior year, my basketball team made school history by advancing to the state Elite Eight in class 4A for the first time ever and came up just shy of the Final Four. I led my team in scoring in both my junior and senior seasons, with 370 points my senior season, including 65 three point field goals. I hold the single season 3 point field goal record at my high school along with the record for career 3 point field goals. My AAU team, formally known as Columbia Sparkz, now Missouri Phenom, was Nike sponsored and we traveled around the country participating in tournaments from April to August. I am a hard worker and dependable in getting the job done on and off the court. I feel it is important to balance sports and my education and I do a good job of that and excel at both.
