Carly Ward '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! Welcome to my profile! My name is Carly Ward and I am a 2022 RHP/1B/OF for Louisville Lady Sluggers 03-Wright. I am from Lake Ozark, Mo and I go to school at Osage High School. In the circle, I love to mix a lot of different speeds. I am more of a verticle pitcher with a riseball and a dropball. I have a change up that can keep hitters off balanced. I produce a lot of weak ground balls and pop ups. When I am not in the circle, I play a lot of first base and outfield. I hit in the 3/4 hole with .422 BA on the season and produce a lot of line drives. 

During my sophomore year of high school I obtained a 4.2 GPA and took all AP/DC classes that are offered. I look to do the same my junior year. I am involved in Dude Be Nice, DECA,  FBLA, NHS, and Key Club. During my sophomore season I achieved 1st team all district, 1st team all conference, Academic All State,  MVP, Pitcher of the Year, and I was team captain. 

 I am looking to attend a university or a college and pursue biomedical, biology or  chemical engineering. I always wanted to find the solution to the problem and I have a passion of helping others. My teammates and coaches would say I am a hard worker and that I always want everyone to feel good about themselves. Thank you for visiting my profile!
