My name is Stacey Kerr and I am a 2011 graduate from Spring Creek, Nevada. This year I received the honor of being chosen 1st team All-State and 1st team All-State Academics as a Junior. Being a part of a team that has great work ethics, sets goals and sees them through together has been a rewarding experience. I hope to continue leading our team with the same desires and goals into Senior year. During the off-season, I love traveling around the country with my AAU Squad, Salt Lake Metro Hoops. I travel 500 miles every weekend to Salt Lake City to practice with teammates that love the game as much as I do. A goal that I had fun with was setting a new high school record for rebounds in a game (20); This season I am averaging 11.8 ppg, shooting 40% from the field, 34% 3FG%, 7 rpg, 2 spg. I am taking honor classes and have a GPA of 4.4. Having a class ranking of #1 out of 202, playing basketball, participating in science fair, studying has taught me to manage time, and still look to the future to follow my dream of becoming a doctor. I hope to attend a college that offers the kind of classes that will help me achieve my goals.
