2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
When standing on a basketball court I feel unstoppable. I love the game and everything it has to offer me. Having the opportunity to play the game that I love and to pursue a college education at the same time would be an honor. I set the goal for myself to play basketball in college a few years ago and from that point on my hunger to become a better player everyday has not stopped.
I know playing any sport at the college level is a priviledge and therefore I am willing to do what ever it takes to get there. At one point the ball stops bouncing, that is why in every game that I play, I play it like it is my last. This game has taught me so many lessons that I would not get anywhere else in life. After playing basketball in college I hope to pursue a career in journalism or as a freelance writer and to also pursue coaching a team of my own.
