Personal Statement
As a leader in the classroom as well as on the court, I am always willing to push myself harder. I always work to the best of my ability, accomplishing each task to the best of my doings. Doing well in the classroom is very important to me and achieving a high honor roll average is always a goal of mine. I put a lot of time into improving my basketball skills. I play AAU with the Lake Champlain Laker's, I have for the past two years. Before playing with them I played with the Lady Minors for a few years. As a freshman I played varsity basketball and during this season we claimed the division title. I was chosen as first team all-star and also I was state recognized. I lead my team in steals on the defensive end and finished with 268 points on the offensive, and received offensive player of the year. This year, as a sophomore I was nominated as captain, and have shown my leadership roles on the court as well as in school. One of the things I do best is see the floor, and make the pass. Passing is one of my favorite things to do.
After high school I want a to attend a college that meets my academic needs as well as my basketball aspirations. As of now I am interested in the medical field, and physical training. Being able to play basketball and study within my field of interest is a goal of mine. Working hard for these goals is something I am willing to do.
