Personal Statement

My name is Courtney and I am 15 years old. I am a go getter. Anything that I want in life I will work my hardest to get it. I am a very supporting teammate and very courageous. I have recently started playing basketball in November and I have made alot of progress. I have grown to love this sport. I am also a very good writer. I have dreams of becoming a lawyer, writer, or a therapist. I am willing to do whatever it takes to play basketball in college. I am working 2 times harder in school because I have realized that my grades are a very important aspect in recruiting. Things don't always go as I plan and I have to work harder than most student athletes because I am new to this sport. I have learned that you must accept failure in order to get better. My hard work and determination is what makes me a great player and a great choice for your college.
