Dear Coaches and Staff,
I am Olivia Dalby, a current Junior at Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill, PA. I am extremely motivated to play basketball at the collegiate level. I have been working hard to achieve this goal on and off the court in both my athletics and academics. When on the court, I work very hard to take the lessons my coaches teach and apply them to my game. I look forward to learning new skills that will continue to shape my game and make me a better player. I have had many successes on and off the court over the last several seasons of high school and AAU basketball, and I look forward to continuing to improve my basketball skills, as well as to continue my success in the classroom. I approach my classroom work with the same desire to learn, allowing me to become a better student, and to grow as a person.

Listed below are a few of my accomplishments over the last 2 years, academically and athletically.
* For the 2012-13 season, as a freshman at Cedar Cliff, I played on my high school’s varsity basketball team coached by Marc Collier. The highlight of the season for me was being named Player of the Game on the locally televised contest vs. our arch-rival school. My play in the third and fourth quarters helped our team pull away and win by 11 points. The full game is on YouTube and can be seen via the Video link on my profile page (I wear jersey #4, in white). The interview after the game, which shows a few of my highlights, can be seen at around the 1:32:00 mark of the video.
* In my third season playing for the Mid Penn Motion AAU team in the spring/summer of 2013, my 9th grade team participated in several tournaments, and on a team that is heavy with guards, I led the team in scoring, averaging nearly 10 points per game. Of the 20 games we played, I had our team's high point total in 12 of those games, scoring in double-digits 11 times.
Academically, I ended my freshman year with a 97.7 grade point average and was ranked 10th in my class of 363. I was inducted into Junior National Honors Society in the spring of 2013, am currently the treasurer for my school's Key Club, and am also working towards reaching National Honors Society in my junior year.
* In the summer of 2013, I attended the Keystone State Basketball Skills Camp from June 27-30 at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA, and was chosen as one of fourteen girls to make the Camp All Star Team.
* For the 2013-14 high school season, I was the teams overall leading scorer, scoring in double digits 9 times, and was game high-scorer 9 times as well. For the season, I was second on the team in assists, shot 63% in free throws, averaged almost 4 rebounds/game, and had the most 3 point field goals made.
March 25, 2014 - Named Honorable Mention in Carlisle Sentinel All-Sentinel Girls Basketball for 2013-14 season
For the 2014 Spring/Summer AAU Season, I averaged a little over 9 points/game, playing on a team who's coach generally subs 5 girls at a time. So during the entire season, assuming 32 or 40 minute games, I would average about 16/20 minutes/game of playing time. I shot 43% FG, 68% FT, and 32% 3PT FG
In 2014, I took the SAT for the first time. My scores were: Reading 510, Math 620, and Writing 540
June 26, 2014 - I have uploaded my Sophomore year full transcript. My GPA is 97/100 and 3.97/4.0 and my class rank is 20/335.
November 4, 2014 - Inducted into National Honor Society
Thank you for your time and consideration.
