Lyandrea Watson '23 Recruiting Profile

 I found basketball at age 11, fell in love with the game and never looked back. Since then I played in many tournaments in my home country, I'm a starter player on our national team, started playing in the woman's league at age 14-15, won multiple awards such as Assist Leader, Scoring Champion, Regular Season MVP, MVP. While playing with my current Team Lady Mavericks at Miller School of Albemarle in Charlottesville I have been awarded the coaches award 2021-2022 and we also won the State Champion Division II 2022. 

I am an athlete of many sports(Volleyball, Softball, Track and Field, Soccer) who plays with passion, courage, determination. I strive for greatness and accept nothing less. I not only see myself as a great team leader but also a well rounded team player. 

Aside from my athletic abilities, I take my academics very seriously I am never below a 94% grade average. I know without my grades in right place I won't be able to participate in sports. With heavy and demanding work loads, I always find a way to balance both academically and athletically. I want play for a team that will help me develop my skill on and off the court.
