Deciding on a career was hard when you are presented with so many choices and you felt basketball was your only choice. So when it was time to decide on my collegiate goals, the one thing that has always caught my attention was IT and computers. After talking about it and watching my dad, I decided that I wanted to study cyber security. Therefore, my choice of college will be heavily influenced by my major. While basketball is my first aspiration, I've been grounded by my parents to recognize that I'm a student first and then an athlete. Basketball was introduced to me when I was in the 4th grade. I didnt know I wanted to play ball but when I placed the basketball in my hand the first time and made a shot, I fell in love with the sport. From then to today, I've become married to the game and only really wanted to improve my craft to become better than I was yesterday. My best is about working hard to achieve the best results possible when I'm on the court in an effort to support my team(s). I give 100% to every game but I also put time in off the court so that Im more effective on the court. Although I started basketball behind most of my peers, coaches and other players have told me that I work harder and play like I've been playing all my life. I fit in on any team as I unselfishly give my all so that my teamates see that I lead by example and expect the same from them. My strength comes from constructive criticism. All in all, Im dedicated and dependable to my coaches, my team and the game. My positive attitude and warm spirit shows on and off the court.
