I was a gymnast, and it was during the 2016 Rio Olympics that I was waiting for gymnastics events to begin. While I was waiting, diving was on, and I became mesmerized by the sport of diving. I ask my parents to let me try some lessons and since then I have been hooked. It has been 9 years since I did my first dive off the board and have not stopped loving this sport. The idea of diving in college is a dream of mine to continue doing the sport I love, challenging myself and creating friendships that could last a lifetime.
I would define myself as a hard worker, willing to ask for whether it is for diving or school, and pride myself on perseverance during a hard practice or dive meet.
Academics is very important to me, keeping a high GPA is a goal of mine. I also volunteer at my church in the children's ministry and Riley Dance Marathon. I am also part of my schools broadcasting team which I am now an editor for.
I would love to attend a college where I can reach my goals academically and for diving. I want to become part of a community in the classroom as well as part of a team, giving 100% effort.
