Sherri Nagamine '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Sherri Nagamine. I have been playing golf for 11 years and I want to play at the collegiate level. My goal is to earn scholarships to further my studies in college while playing golf. I am honest, hard-working, and dependable. During my freshman year, I called a penalty on myself and ultimately disqualified myself from being able to qualify for states. Although I really wanted to continue playing, I could not go against the integrity of the game. I have learned since then, and qualified for states my sophomore and junior years. Off the golf course, I am a great student and leader. I have maintained a 3.76 GPA while taking honors classes. I am also the president of the Allies 4 Equality Club, and I will be the president of the Japanese Club in my senior year.
