Personal Statement
Some personal goals for me as a student and as an athlete is to be somewhere where I can not only learn and achieve greatness but also grow as an individual by learning from others who are successful. I am a good candidate for your golf team because I am a hard worker who always gives 110% on the course and in the classroom. I am also a very good communicator and very cooperative with people. These attributes plus many other positive things such as my ability to learn quickly, my level of perseverance, and my overall desire to be great both in the classroom on a daily basis and on the course or even during practice, leads me to be different than other recruits both academically and athletically.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. Freshman year I took Honors English as well as Honors Biology. In both of these classes, I maintained a high B or an A which lead me to keep the outstanding GPA I have earned. This year as a sophomore I am in English honors and honors Chem. This year since I have maintained such a high grade in both of these classes I will be transferring over to AP Chem and AP Language next year.Are you in AP/IB classes?

- AwardsAcademically I have achieved and been awarded many awards. Freshman year I was honored when I made the school's honor roll. I have also been awarded the superintendent's award which is given to the top 10 students in the grade. In high school, I was fortunate enough to receive two Positively North Awards, which is an award given out to outstanding students from teachers who recognize leaders and hardworking students in the halls, in sports, and in the classroom. On the golf team, I was the captain for JV and ended up playing up on varsity. At the end of the season, I was awarded the trojan pride award which you have to be nominated for. This award is given to students who are positive, helpful, and supportive on the team. I was also in my school's National Junior Honor Society.
- ActivitiesI participated in Student Council. I also do a lot of volunteering through feed my starving children and through my local convent/nursing home where I help an assist the elderly. I also go to my local church Youth Group which does volunteering, retreats to help people and develop my faith.
