Personal Statement
Hi, I am Allison Pacocha! I am a junior at Eureka High School. At a young age, I have enjoyed the game of golf in both a leisure and competitive setting. As the weather becomes colder in Illinois, I continue to work on my game indoors and wish to be outside on the course all winter.
My freshman high school season was very successful. The tournaments that Eureka High School was invited to, I placed in the top ten in all of them. At the Heart of Illinois Conference meet, I was the individual champion. That same season, I went on to tie for third at the state tournament.
My sophomore season topped my freshman one. Once again, I won the Heart of Illinois Conference tournament. At the Illinois 1A state tournament, I won by four strokes by shooting a 142. The countless hours of practice have been shown through my accolades.
Although golf takes up most of my time, school is very important as well. I try my very hardest to maintain a 4.0 GPA and continue learning every day. I am involved in my high school’s student council by being the treasurer. By being on the student council, we annually raise tens of thousands of dollars to donate to St. Jude. I look forward to helping others both in and out of the classroom setting.
I look forward to continuing my education in college as well as finding the right golf program for me.
