My name is Marisa Lerario and I am a part of the 2024 class at Lake Park High School. I think I would be a good asset to the team because I am dedicated and devoted to the sport I love to play. I have been playing golf for 9 years and it all started in second grade at Bloomingdale Golf Club's driving range. Not only am I devoted to the game but I am also devoted to my education. Golf has been a big part of my life but I always stay on top of my schooling. I am an honors student with a weighted GPA of 4.7. I have also moved up in my math class to AP Statistics. Throughout my four years of high school, I have joined my school's student council club, Special Olympics club, and varsity golf team, and was accepted into the National Honors Society. I like to keep myself occupied by getting a job at a restaurant as a hostess, and during the summer at Schaumburg Golf Course as a kiddie camp intern and PGA Junior League junior coach. I am also on the Lake Park varsity golf team and was able to advance as an individual to the State Tournament in my junior year. Outside of high school golf, I play in the IJGA and MAJGT Nationally Recognized Tournaments. As of right now, my handicap is at a 1.3 but I intend on bringing that down as my golf journey moves on. I am willing to do whatever it takes to continue playing the game I love after high school.

- First High School match of my senior season, good way to kick off the season. I placed third with a score of 73(+1). On the front nine I shot a 36(E) and on the back a 37(+1). Definitely could've shot lower if took out some of those bogeys. But overall this is just the beginning, can't wait to see what the season brings.

- Day one I shot a 39(+3) on the front and a 35(-1) on the back for a 74(+2). Day two I shot a 41(+5) on the front and a 33(-3) on the back for a 74(+2). Overall I was +4 for the two days and placed eleventh. The second day I got unlucky on the from but was able to pull through on the back and shoot low. One of my strongest tournaments this year and competitive.

- Day one I shot a 38(+2) on the front and a 39(+3) on the back for a 77(+5). Day two I shot a 38(+2) on the front and a 35(-1) on the back for a 73(+1). Overall I was +6 for the two days and placed third. The first day I could've done better with my putting. The second was one of my strongest rounds of the year so far.

- Day one I shot a 40(+5) on the front and a 38(+2) on the back for a total of 78(+7). Day two I shot a 41(+6) on the front and a 38(+2) on the back for a 79(+8). Overall I was +15 and tied for third place. Not my strongest tournament and needed some more practice around the green.

- Day 1: Shot an 83(+11) to make the cut for the second day. Front nine: 41(+5) Back nine: 42(+6) Struggled the first day, not my best round but was able to advance to the second day. Day 2: Shot a 75(+3) Front nine: 38(+2) Back nine: 37(+1) Shaved 8 strokes off from the previous round. It was an amazing experience, something I will cherish forever.
