Jacob Drozd '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Drozd and I have been swimming for over seven years. The achievements I have accomplished over the years include winning age group championships at 14, placing 3rd at my high school state championship as a junior,  as well as being .21 seconds (LMC) in the 50 freestyle, away from making it to the USA Olympic trials at 16. I am very proud of how far I have come in my swimming career thus far, but I can't wait to see how much I can improve at the right school as well.  Moving forward I hope to continue both my educational and swimming careers at a school that pushes me to become the best version of myself as a swimmer and as a person.  I'm proud to say that when I set my sights on a goal, I work hard and do everything in my power to achieve those goals, not letting anything get in my way. I believe that my overall persistent work ethic is one of the qualities that sets me apart, and I can't wait to bring that along with me in my future.
