Zoe Key '21 Recruiting Profile

During my first two years participating on the Women's Golf Team, I did not get the opportunity to compete. However, I was determined to excel and committed to additional personal coaching and practice to become a valued member of the team. I attended the Pinehurst Golf Academy Summer intensive and learned technical skills to improve my game to be a better player. As a result of my hard work, I was chosen as one of the top 5 players on the team. This achievement was the highlight of my high school career as it showed me that determination, drive and perseverance will help me achieve my goals both on the field and in the classroom. This experience humbled me and demonstrated that I can do anything if I apply myself. 

I am very fortunate to play for my school’s golf team and be one of the senior captains for the upcoming year. I learned and honed the value of commitment this past year. I am seeking a program that will challenge me academically and athletically. I believe I have what it takes to play at the collegiate level because I have the talent, leadership skills, and worth ethic that will positively impact your program.
