September 2016 Personal Statement
I want to play golf at the most competitive level possible and get the best education I can. I am a diligent student. I played three sports my Freshman and Sophomore year (Swimming, Water Polo and Golf) and while I loved that experience the truth is that I believe that held me back a bit academically and I think it slowed down my progress as a golfer. I have committed myself entirely to school and golf this year.
I take instruction well, I understand that I am accountable to my teammates for my performance so I take preparation seriously.
I was part of my high school's Water Polo team which won the State Water Polo Tournament last year. That experience taught me how important it is to love what you are doing and to trust your teammates. I think our belief in each other was that extra ingredient that pushed us to excellence.
