Sydney Gunn '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Gunn and I am a Senior at Cody High School in Cody, Wyoming. I love golf and my dream is to be able to play golf and get better at the game I love while earning an education in the medical field. I am a very committed player that works hard to be the best I can be. Golf difficult to practice in Wyoming because of the weather, so I make the most out of my practices in the summer while competing in tournaments. I also practice throughout the winter on simulators and through other creative ways around my house. Because it is difficult to practice in Wyoming my goal is to play for a college that has warmer weather all year around. I understand how hard golf is as well as the time and hard work that has to be put into the game. My dream is to play for a Division 1 college. I am involved in many programs throughout my school including Teen Leadership Coolaition, Cody CAN, and National Honors Society. I am also involved in church groups and I believe that is a big part of my success. I always strive to be the best I can be in the classroom, on the course, and most importantly in life.
