I began gymnastics at My little gym in Plano, Texas when I was 6 months old. In kindergarten I started competing on a recreational pre team, after 3 years I moved to Rogue Athletics to be on a competitive team. At 9 years old I told my parents I wanted to move to online school to be in the gym all day, everyday, but I had to convince my parents first. One month after I had reached the milestones my parents had set for me, I began online school. For the next 4 and a half years I trained toward my collegiate dream all day, everyday. Like all other gymnasts, and people in general, I’ve had ups and downs but through it all I’ve never given up on my dream to be doing this sport at a high level for as long as I can. Looking at the next stage of my gymnastics career, I want a college with a strong sports culture, and a family oriented gymnastics program. During my time in college I want to grow as a student, athlete, and overall person so I’m as prepared as possible for post-graduate life.
