My name is Danielle Kelley, despite my height, I am a ball of fire on, and off the ice. My speed has always been an enormous strength not only in ice hockey but field hockey and lacrosse as well. I have been a three-sport varsity athlete since my freshman year, but have always gravitated towards hockey during the offseason. I played year-round hockey while my other sports were in season as well. I fell in love with hockey at a very young age and my parents put me in figure skating classes, but we all knew that was not the path I was meant to go down. Coming from a family of hockey greatness, its technically in my blood. My dad has been my biggest supporter since Day one, and I am the player I am today because of him. I believe that grit and hard work can beat raw talent any day. I am the grittiest one on the ice and never hesitate to show what I am made of. With all of that passion, I make sure to keep my head on straight and only focus on the little black puck and what my next move of attack will be. I want to be the player people fear the next time they play me, I want to see where my full potential lies and lastly, I will be the best player I can be.
