Kate Park-Beardsley '26 Recruiting Profile

 I am a defender on STEPS California. I go to CSUS, which is currently the 4th best academic school in California. I grew up playing club basketball and didn't pick up a lacrosse stick until halfway through 7th grade. Yet as soon as I did, I fell in love with the sport because of the high level of teamwork and the quick yet detailed style of the game. I am a coachable, fast, and athletic defender. My lax IQ allows me to recognize and communicate what's happening on the field and self-correct any mistakes I make. I always try to support my teammates on and off the field as well. I enjoy attending lax tournaments and showcases because I love to learn new things from all kinds of players and coaches. While I participate in Volleyball and Track, my dream is to play lacrosse in college.
