Jessica Pisani '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jessica Pisani and I love playing lacrosse. I consider success to be the satisfaction of knowing that I compete to the best of my ability every time I step on the field or in the classroom. My goal is to play lacrosse in a highly competitive program where my skills and passion will bring value to the team. I am a good recruiting candidate because of my extensive playing experience, dedication to skill development, increasing field awareness and excellence in the classroom. I am a more valuable recruit than most because I am equally talented with my right or left hand and I have very high lacrosse IQ.

As an aggressive defensive specialist, there is nothing better than shutting down the best player on the other team. Since I was a former attacker who scored many goals, I can anticipate almost every move an attacker makes.  

I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade and have been involved with club lacrosse since 4th grade. 

Currently, I play lacrosse at Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ where we are ranked #13 in NJ.  Furthermore, I play competitive club lacrosse for Garden State Elite (GSE 2019) where we will be attending several IWLCA tournaments each summer and fall.

Playing lacrosse has made me a well-rounded student-athlete. I currently have a 4.0 GPA (weighted) while taking all honors courses. Although I enjoy all of my courses, in college, my plan is to concentrate in the field of sciences.  

Some of my most memorable experiences include defeating teams like the Yellow Jackets and Top Guns from Long Island along with MD United from Maryland. 

In addition to lacrosse, I like to snowboard, surf, and spend time with my family.
