Sidney Mayers '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sidney Mayers, and I am a Junior at New Paltz High School. I was a freshman starter on my Varsity team and became team captain as a Sophomore. I hold myself to very high standards and believe that academics are the most important thing as a foundation of a successful career. I have plans to pursue an Accounting Major to become a CPA (certified public accountant). I am driven, and hard-working, and love to meet new people wherever I go. On the lacrosse field, I am tenacious in every task and proceed in every action with meaning. I am a very coachable athlete and am always looking for constructive criticism to excel in my craft. I will always be comfortable with being uncomfortable or stepping out of my comfort zone to try new things. Playing lacrosse at the next level is something I'm very passionate about, and I'm excited to accomplish this goal.
