Leah Schamberg '25 Recruiting Profile

As a Junior with three years of Varsity experience behind me, I've definitely gained some insights from my coaches and teammates.

As a starting player for three seasons, I've learned that being consistent and reliable is key. Along with that, being vocal and helpful solidifies my role as a key player on the team and leads to winning the game. It's not just about how you perform on the pitch. It's also about how you do in school and what you choose to do in your free time. With my 4.0 GPA, I can confidently say that I hold my academics just as high as I hold my soccer knowledge and experience. I have mastered the art of time management and I am always looking to learn new things and help others, along with trying to always think ahead. I ask myself questions like: "How will this affect my decision-making tomorrow?" or "Will this make things easier, or harder for me?". Being a leader and inspiring others is always one of my top priorities in school, at home, and on the pitch.

I am seeking a competitive program, that invests in their Women's Soccer Program and their athletes and one that truly cares about the player as a whole.
