Hello! My name is Asha. I am a member of the Greenhill class of 2025. I am an intelligent, hard-working, and loyal teammate on and off the field. I have a 4.01 GPA (unweighted), and I scored 1400 on the PSAT during my sophomore year. Our team made it to the Texas State D2 Championship, and over the weekend I made 24 saves on 44 shots (54.5%). In addition I was selected to the All-Zone Team for the North Zone for the Southwest Preparatory Conference.
I want to attend a college that will challenge me both on the field and in the classroom and allow me to thrive as both a student and an athlete.
In the fall I run on the varsity cross country team and during the summer I play club lacrosse with 214 Lacrosse. Outside of athletics, I playing the bass in the Greenhill chamber orchestra and act in musical theater productions in the fine arts program at Greenhill. In my spare time I love to bake, put together jigsaw puzzles, ride roller coasters, and perform on the flying trapeze at the Dallas Circus Center. Another fun fact about me is that I can ride a unicycle.
Volunteering and community service are especially important to me. This summer I volunteered with Bridge Lacrosse, an outreach program which brings lacrosse to underserved areas of Dallas, and the SPCA of Texas, helping to care for dogs and cats. This summer I spent 10 days performing various service projects in Costa Rica with West Coast Connections. In the future I may want to pursue a career in the area of global public health or psychology.
