Anna Arcese '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Duxbury High School in Massachusetts where l am a coxswain for the boys and girls crew team representing the Duxbury Bay Maritime School. I started rowing at the age of 11, but when I was a freshman, I decided to become a coxswain. Here, I found my joy in managing a boat and executing a race plan with my coach and teammates. Since taking on the role of coxswain, I have been an active member of the team during the fall, winter, spring and summer seasons. While coxing full time, I also participate in several activities in school, maintain a 4.1 GPA and sing in a world renowned professional choir at the Trinity Church in Boston. I've also had a full time job in the summer at the Duxbury Bay Maritime School where I have worked on the water since I was 14 in the Maritime Adventures Program for kids ages preschool to 6th grade.
