I began rowing just over a year ago
and was immediately drawn to the discipline and teamwork of rowing. I’m a former competitive long-distance runner with a 5:23 mile and a strong foundation in endurance sports. I’ve always trained as a multi-sport athlete and continue to cross-train year-round through running, biking, and swimming to build aerobic capacity.
I attend Phillips Exeter Academy and I train and race with Great Bay Rowing in Dover, New Hampshire, where I’ve found greater opportunities to pursue sculling. As a sculling club, Great Bay offers the ideal environment to race in small boats, which has helped me gain confidence sculling. As a lightweight rower (5’8” 118 lbs), I’ve focused on refining technique and maximizing efficiency in both sculling and sweep. During the 2024 fall season I won a coaches award for most improved rower and by the 2025 spring season I won the Boathouse MVP award. I’m a very versatile rower and can transition between singles, doubles, quads, fours, and eights. I love rowing and would like to compete at the highest level in college.
Last summer (2024), I attended Rowing Camps of America, in Sarasota, Florida, where I earned seats in both the top 8+ (bow) and top 4- (2 seat). Competing at that level helped me sharpen my racing mindset and adapt to different boat lineups.
