My name is Brooklyn Kudlas and I am very interested in playing college soccer! I have been playing soccer for only 4 years now and my love for soccer keeps growing. I was born in Longview, Texas but moved around a lot because my dad's military service. He is now retired Air Force. I am a rising Junior at Huntsville High School and have played on the Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity soccer teams. I am very involved in school sports! I have cheered for about 7 years and sadly but memorably put away the cheer shoes to become more involved with my interest in playing Collegiate soccer. I am also currently playing Flag Football and plan to continue playing through my Senior year!
I may be involved with sports, but my love for academics sure shows! I have a solid 3.8 GPA average and maintain A and B’s. I am a Junior Civitan, a 3-year student council officer, and a Fellowship of Christian Athletes member. Moreover, I am actively involved in Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD), Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Silver Circle Sorority, and my church youth program team member/leader. All of the extracurricular activities may sound like a lot , but I love the diversity of people and take pride in helping students/peers to be better people and leaders everyday.
I am interested in many places! I have looked at many colleges and also the medical programs they offer. Since I was young, I have always known I wanted to be someone that saved lives whether it be pets or people! I love helping others and ensuring everyone is safe. As I look into colleges, I also look into the medical programs they offer. I want to be a nurse, specifically a flight nurse. I am involved in the Nursing program offered at my high school. The program offers four stages of classes where you will learn pre-med information and as a rising Senior you test and can intern at the one of the local hospitals.
Other than soccer being my main focus I have many things I love to do when I have time! I love hiking, swimming, art, hanging out with friends and listening to music. I hope to find a college soccer program that guides me to become a better player and that offers me the interests of what I want to do in the future. As I look into what I expect I look for a team that is inclusive, supports everyone, competitive and offers a safe environment on and off the field.
