Clara Toole '21 Recruiting Profile

From meeting Hope Solo to attending many of the U.S. Women's National Team games, this has influenced who I have become on and off the fields. Beginning at the young age of 3 years old, I told my parents I wanted to play soccer.  They allowed me to play in a rec league and from there I am now in the National Players League by the age of 16 as the starting goalkeeper. Starting at the age of 9, I fell in love with the goalkeeper position.  I began to work harder to become the best goalkeeper I can.  By moving to goalkeeper, this has given me the confidence and strength to be myself and have good communication and networking skills. I've had to overcome many personal and social obstacles over the years to become a leader and starter on a top quality competitive club that is now part of the NPL.  This has allowed me to showcase my skill level that I have worked so hard to achieve.  Working hard and my work ethic puts me ahead of many not only on the soccer fields but also in the classrooms.  I want to attend a college to study and major in orthodontics.  I fell in love with this field after having such a great experience with my braces and I want to return the happiness i got after seeing what it can do to others.
