Victoria Dungey '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Victoria (Tori) Dungey, I was born in 2005 and am currently 17 years old. I play for Calgary Foothills UWS. I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and it has shaped me to be who I am now. My love for soccer has fuelled me to reach for the highest standard of academics and athletics throughout my life. I'm looking to find a team that pushes me to be the best player I know I can be, while also having a reputable academic program.

I play holding midfield, although I am a very versatile and adaptable soccer player due to my strong athleticism, meaning I am comfortable playing many different positions as I am needed.  I am excellent at being strong on the ball, a very physical player and don’t give the ball away without a fight. In saying that, if my team is ever stripped of the ball, I am always immediately working to get it back. I hunt players down till the ball is back in my team’s possession. 

I am extremely competitive and driven and am always looking for a challenge! I am a firm believer that I need to play with teammates who challenge me to be the best I know I can be. Although I am very competitive, I also have an exceedingly positive and collaborative attitude toward players and the game.
