My name is Audrey Lam, I'm 14 years old and currently a freshman at Piedmont High School. I have been training/competing with the Lamorinda Soccer Club (LMSC) ‘04 Development Academy since it's launch in 2017. The philosophy and possession playing style is why I'm at LMSC, I feel the coaching staff is among the best around and I have learned a great deal from them; from developing my game as well as becoming a more mature player and person.
In addition to my training with LMSC, I have been invited to train at the US Soccer YNT ID training centers twice a year since 2017. In October 2019, I was fortunate to have been invited for 4 days along with other ‘05 players from around the country to gather at the National Development Center in Kansas City for an U15 Girls’ Youth National Team Camp led by Mirelle van Rijbroek and assisted by U17 WNT head coach Tracey Kevins and three Girls’ Talent Identification Managers. It was the highlight of my soccer experience to date and gave me an insight on what the possibilities are for the future if I continue working hard towards my athletic goals.
I hope to continue playing soccer in college and maybe professionally. No matter what my future holds, I will always be connected with soccer in some way. Thank you.
