I want to be a part of a strong, competitive soccer program while continuing my education and earning a degree to better prepare for life after soccer. I am in the middle of my Senior year at Martin Luther King High School in Southern California. I currently have a 4.1 GPA and I am interested in studying physical therapy/ kinesiology, but remain open to fields of study in the same area. I have been an honor roll recipient all four semesters of high school. I have lettered on Varsity soccer during my all three years of highschool so far. I was awarded Scholar Athlete Award all three seasons. I was selected 1st team all league my junior year. The pandemic is threatening my senior year of of soccer, however I maintain confident we get back on the field.
I currently play club soccer in southern California for the Legends FC Girls Academy League (GAL), at the Forward position. I have been in the Academy program for four years now and I have been with the Legends program five years. Prior to joining the Legends program I played with Pateadores (IER) club for five years. Total I have played for 13 years. I am thankful for all of my years of club soccer and being exposed to high level coaching and some of the best competition in the country. I have developed a passion not only for the game of soccer but for the process of becoming the best soccer player I can, but being an even better teammate.
I have been raised in a strong home built on love and accountability. My Mom and Dad have been married 18 years and in this day and age that speaks toward commitment and loyalty. My sister is a dancer and we are very close. My relationship with my family is extremely important and my parents are beyond supportive in the process of researching, exploring, and visiting schools that will be a good fit for me academically, athletically, socially, and all around good life experience. I look forward to my remaining six months of club soccer and high school but am excited to find the college I will call my home away from home.
