Sydni Hankinson '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a collegiate athlete is to obtain a bachelors degree and to compete at a high level of women's soccer.  I am a good candidate for a college soccer team because I have a great work ethic both on and off the field and take pride playing hard consistently.  I am a leader and have a love for the game.   

Something that makes me different from other recruits as far as character goes, is that I put others first and care about my teammates.   I want both the team and myself to be successful on and off the field.  

One thing that separates me from other athletes my age, is my ability to shoot and score on set pieces from 35-40 yards out.  I am constantly working on my shot as a midfielder and love to thread the ball to my teammates.  

Even though school can be challenging at times, especially in my AP classes, I work very hard to remain above a 3.0 GPA.  I currently have a 3.8 GPA.

I am looking forward to the journey to find the perfect fit for me as a collegiate athlete.
