Sports have always been a part of my life; from ballet to basketball, I have tried it all. If you were to ask any of my friends or family members to describe me in one word, it would be athletic. While I love all sports, the one that has always stuck with me is soccer. My passion for the sport is immeasurable, for it has been with me almost my entire life. I can hardly remember a time without it. To take my play to the next level in college is my ultimate goal.

I love soccer with all of my heart. At two years old my passion began and from there it has never wavered. As my game developed, I grew to love defense. Whether it was outside defense or center I was excited. I have been told my foot skills are also suited for a more offensive position, but I find protecting my goal as the ultimate challenge.

Going into U11 I was placed on the B team. While it did come as a surprise, I worked hard and never gave up on my goal of making a better team next year. The following year I was a starter on the premier team and I haven’t left since. Because of this situation, it has taught me that persistence is key and if you want to achieve a goal you need to be determined and willing to put in the effort.

As for my life outside of soccer, I play for my high schools varsity ice hockey team as well as a competitive youth hockey team. I also hope to make the golf team next year. I am currently in the concert orchestra and I have been on the Dean’s list since starting high school. I am a hardworking, coachable, ambitious, talented young woman who is eager to play for a competitive college program with a great coach that will bring my game to the next level.
