Hi, my name is Carolyn Sweat. I currently play for the Oakleaf High School Varsity Soccer team. Outside of high school soccer, I also play for Clay County Soccer with the United GA, or formerly DA. Having played since I was five years old, I have developed a deep rooted passion for the game. I am ultra passionate on and off the field, and an exceptional team leader. Though I am small in stature, many girls I've played against quickly learn my fierce style of play on the field greatly overshadows my size. Ever since I was younger, I always knew I wanted to play soccer in college and hopefully beyond. It has never been a question of "if", but where I will play. I strive to achieve this dream. Through my various soccer teams and clubs, I have learned that work ethic and dedication is vital to traveling my path academically and athletically. I am easily coachable and love to learn new things about the game, techniques, or skills which will give me an advantage against my competitor. In addition, while I focus a lot on fine tuning my personal skills (On/Off the field) and leadership style I am very much a team player. I am equally as happy to see my teammates achieve success as I am for myself.
