My athletic career began as a competitive gymnast at 5 years old (2013). I trained and competed year-round for 5 years, Winning the NY State Vaulting Championship in April of 2018.
After gymnastics I played a year of Pop-Warner tackle football for the Greece Cardinals (2018-2019). My position, on the all-boys team, was as a tight-end & corner. I loved playing football, but my parents made me stop playing, so I decided to try soccer.
I started playing soccer in 7th grade (Sept 2019) for Greece Athena in Greece, NY. During my school season I was recruited to play for a club team called Greece United. I practiced with Greece United until we were made to stop due to Covid-19.
During Covid-19, in March of 2020, my family moved to Venice, FL. In May of 2020 I tried out for the Venice Falcons. I played the 2020-2021 season with the Falcons, my main position was as a defensive player. My team placed 1st in our league for that season, winning 1st place in several tournaments. I also participate in Varsity Track & Field. In my freshman year I placed 2nd place at the Sarasota County meet in the 100m and advanced to Regionals in the 4 x100 as well as the long jump. During my sophomore year I was nominated Athlete of the Year and earned a place on the First Team All-Area.
I played my 2022-2023 season with Braden River Rage Soccer Club and will continue my junior year with Braden River, as well as playing for Venice High School Varsity Soccer.
As a soccer player I am very hard-working and dedicated to earning my position on the field. Most of my soccer career has been spent as defensive player, which comes very natural to me. I have been training with my club coach to play right wing - a position that suits the speed that I have on the field, although I look forward to improving. I have been told that I am very coach-able, and I look to my coach(s) for strategies and ways to improve.
Academically, I am proud to consistently carry an unweighted GPA of 3.70 or greater. School and my grades are very important to me. I hope that my dedication to doing well in school leads to an opportunity to attend a college where I can pursue a degree in Architectural Design. I have been accepted to and will be attending Suncoast Technical School beginning August 2023 for their Computer Aided Design program. I look forward to getting a head-start on my career education.
It is a goal of mine to play soccer at the collegiate level. I feel as though I am an outgoing person who is willing to be a leader on and off of the field.
