Aloha Coaches,
My name is Logan Pang. I am a rising sophomore (c/o 2026) and attend Iolani School, a rigorous, private collegiate prepatory high school.
Soccer has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I love the feeling of the ball at my feet which has led me to become a very technical player. If I’m not at my club trainings or games, I am training on my own or watching soccer videos of professional soccer players or other players I can learn from. I am always working to improve as a player whether that’s on or off the field. Many coaches often comment on my strong work ethic and coachability. I always look forward to practice and strive to continuously improve my level of play.
My work ethic is not limited to the soccer field. I aim to do my best in everthing I do. I like to challenge myself at school by enrolling in honors and ap courses. I have a 4.1 GPA and I have enjoyed being the class teasurer every year since my 7th grade year. I enjoy reading inspirational books which motivate me to go achieve my goals. My favorite book is “Relentless” by Tim Grover who writes about the characteristics of successful athletes like Kobe Bryant.
What separates me from other outside backs is that I have great stamina which allows me to contribute to the attack while still fulfilling my job as a defender. I love to attack and I make lots of runs up the field every game to help contribute to goals in any way possible. Running has helped me develop my stamina and improve overall as a soccer player. I run both track and cross country for my school where I compete as one of the top runners in the state.
My aspirations are to play for a highly ranked women‘s collegiate soccer program where I can continue to push myself on the field and in the classroom.
