Aloha mai ka kou,
My name is Lily Ku'ukiai Kay-Wong and I am currently a student at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii, a private christian school for those of Hawaiian ancestry located on Moku O Keawe. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and have had the opportunity to travel across the nation competing in this sport that I love. I currently play in the U19 and U16 girls division for Big Island Rush Soccer Club and on the traveling team for the Hawaii Rush 09G located in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have also been a member of the ODP state team for 3 years traveling to the West Region ODP tournament in AZ. In addition to soccer I also have a passion for surfing, photography, and cooking. I also play club volleyball as a setter or liebero.
My dream is to play college soccer at the Division 1 level and obtain an athletic scholarship. I hope that after my college years I will also be able to continue on the pitch either in a career of a professional soccer player or as a Physical Therapist. Both academically and athletically I am a hard worker and perservere through any challenges. One of my greatest strengths on the pitch is my ability to play with grit and fierceness and my ability to attack quickly. I enjoy helping out in my community with the younger keiki who also are starting to develop and play soccer as a volunteer coach and as a referee.
