Hello coaches, I have loved every minute of this game since I started playing. I always try my best, I am very quick with my decision making, and my goal is to achieve my highest potential. I am looking for a school where I can further my studies and continue playing, train with a great team and reach my goals as a player. My goal is to play division 1 women's soccer.
I've played as a forward my entire career, since I first started with my first club at age 6. At the age of 9, I was playing for Eclipse Select Soccer Club on the ECNL team. My first coach at the club was Jordan Rossi who I had for two years. I got to learn simple strategies and found my strengths. At 12, my new coach was Scott Fonfara. He wasn't like my past coach, he pushed me very hard. He wasn't always the nicest coach, but I learned by far the most through him. His coaching style fit me best. He would scream at me and I took that into another perspective and would fix my mistakes immediately. If I didn't, I would be taken out. He taught me by showing me what I was doing wrong just by a sketch. I am a visual learner so it made more sense to me. Most girls on my team would go to their parents, complain and cry about our coach. I took the criticism completely the opposite. His way of coaching wasn't always the most enjoyable but it really taught me the most and that year is where I grew the most as a player. The next year, at 14, I was still playing for the same team and level but with Coach Mike Nesci. That was my last year at Eclipse. Freshman year I decided I needed change and moved to the club FC United. I played on pre-academy with coach Craig Snower. I didn't receive the coaching and training I was looking for. That spring as a freshman I played for Varsity at York High School in Elmhurst. I really liked the experience of playing high school soccer. It was more about bonding together as a team rather than focusing on winning always. I was the only freshman on the team so it was a lot to adjust to but I fit in perfectly. I became great friends with many of the girls. That season with my high school team was definitely the best experience I have ever had with my teammates. I grew such great relationships and it made practice always much more fun. My coach was Don Vana. I continued to play forward but I was moved around in new positions which challenged me to learn more. I was playing outside midfield. It required me to be more involved in the game. I have a strong understanding of the game and good vision on the field. An advantage that I have always had since I was younger is that I am physically a lot taller than most of the girls which made me stronger. I am also very fast on and off the ball. I am continuing to work on my technical work on the ball. As a sophomore now, I switched clubs to Sockers FC with coaches Rudy Cleveland and Brian Colicchia. I have found coaches who I really like and help me continue to improve my skills. In September 2018 I partially tore my MCL. I was out for 5 months. It was really hard for me. I went to soccer consuming my life and always being around it to not being able to do anything. I worked hard on getting back to soccer as soon as I could. I finally was released and started to practice again. Spring season of 2019 I played on my High Schools Varsity team as the starting forward. I am now currently playing for Eclipse North U18 U19 ECNL with coach John Soltani.
Academically, I am committed to learning in and out of school. I am specifically interested in science classes. In college, I want to study medicine. Outside of school, I look forward to playing soccer, and other sports such as volleyball and basketball. I love spending time with family and friends. I have two brothers, an older and younger. They keep me tough and always up for a challenge.
