My name is Elizabeth Stam and I am passionate about playing soccer. I'm a senior at Bishop McNamara Catholic and have had the following accomplishments:
My strengths are my foot skills, knowledge of the game, being able to read the field and passing. I am a versatile player and have started at defensive back for the Chicago Magic Boys team, midfield for Chicago Magic girls and my high school. My physical fitness allows me to get back and defend or move forward and attack when I'm a midfielder. I am an unselfish player who loves to look for an opportunity to set up a score.
I am currently number 3 in my class with a 4.33 / 4.0 GPA and academics are clearly very important to me.
Two years ago I was traveling over 2 hours to play with Chicago Magic North and then our team moved to Sockers FC and we qualified for Nationals finishing 3rd in our age group.
I'm a fierce competitor and am also an avid runner and have qualified for state in cross country every year freshman-senior, was named team MVP, won individual All-city twice and my team has won regionals all three years as well as sectionals last year.
I can't wait to continue playing soccer in college and am interested in playing somewhere that I can have an immediate playing impact. If you are interested in learning more about my skills and dedication, Please contact me or to reach out to either my club coach, Joe Ducci or Keith Trojan.
