My name is Dulce Izabella Nieto, I have been playing soccer since I was about 5 years old. I really got serious about it when I was probably 12, I'm 14 now. I really love soccer, it's my dream going D1 and playing professionally. I also know if I want all that to happen I have to work hard on my dream. I want to go to a College that pushes me to be a better player, the college has to have a good medical field as well. I'm interested in being a sports physical therapist. It's important to me that I find a school with both a strong soccer program and degree offerings in the medical field. My goal is to play at the highest level possible.
I think I make a good candidate by helping my teammates and pushing them to be a better player. When it comes down to leadership, I try getting my teammates pumped up and ready to win, and try our hardest. I'm always helping my teammates, by telling them whats right and what they need to work on. I love how we all work together as a team and help each other out. When I need help with a skill or trying to figure out a new position I do not stay silent, I speak up and ask for help. What I think is really important for a player and the team is how you play while losing. Even though some players are losing faith on the game I try bringing it back by encouraging them and to not give up.
