Sophia Dawson '25 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in becoming part of a high level competitive Collegiate soccer program. Currently, I am a sophomore at Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, IN. This past high school season, I was rostered for varsity as a midfielder, was in the starting lineup for the season, and played a total of 1476 minutes in our 20 games. I am honored to be named one of the 1^st Team All-County Players as well as receiving honorable mention for the ALL-USA Central Indiana Super Team. I also received the mental attitude award for this past high school season from my coaches and teammates. My high school season was also very rewarding as we won another Sectional Title in the IHSAA class 3A. Our school is in the competitive Hoosier Crossroads Conference with opponents such as, Hamilton Southeastern, Zionsville, and Noblesville, all ranked in the top 20 in Indiana.

I currently play with the Indiana Olympic Development Program (ODP). I made the roster for the state team for the last two years I have played ODP. I was also invited to and attended the Midwest Regional ODP Camp in Rockford, Illinois in June of 2021 and 2022.

Academically, I carry a 3.8 out of 4.0 GPA, and know I am interested in the fields of math, biology, and athletic training.

For club soccer season, I play for the Westside United U16 Elite team based out of Avon, IN. We play in the Great Lakes Conference (GLC). I wear #22 during club season and play holding/central midfielder.
