Daniela Busquets'...Personal Statement
Collegiate soccer is a must in my college experience, as it has been a must in my Elementary, Middle and High School experience. I have focused competitively on this sport for the last 7 years, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and excelling in the PSATs (I have yet to take the SAT) with a 1200 score so far out of a 1420. I am a fast runner, dribbling the ball with control and strategy. I like to create opportunities for my other teammates to score, when not attacking the goal myself. I am disciplined, focused and principled. My teammates take comfort in my balanced demeanor, and I tend to create an environment to join forces instead of one that divides characters within the team. This summer I will be the only one from Puerto Rico to participate with the GPS National Team in the Surf Cup in San Diego (late July).

- Traveled to Global Premier Soccer SC to participate in a try-out for 2002 girls to make a National GPS Team. She made the team and will be the only one from the island to go to San Diego this summer to participate in the Surf Cup (a very competitive soccer tournament).
