Lilah Kern '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, Coaches! My name is Lilah Kern and I am a Freshman at Sparrows Point High School (class of 2028) in Baltimore, Maryland. I fell in love with the sport of soccer when I was 5 years old, and have been playing club since I was 7. Currently I play for Baltimore Bays Pride 2010 and compete in USYS National League 1.  For my club team I primarily play Striker, and occasionally play on the wing. I am also on the Varsity soccer team at Sparrows Point High School, where we finished as Regional Champions and Maryland State 2A Semi-Finalists. On the Varsity Team I play Striker, and finished my Freshman season with 6 goals and 3 assists, including a hat-trick against the reigning 1A State Champions. 

When it comes to college my goal is to find a school that I can make lifelong memories and friendships. I want to attend a school where I can grow as a person, as well as a soccer player. I love playing the sport, and it has been my goal for a long time to represent it at the highest level I possibly can.  It is also my goal to attend law school, after i complete my undergraduate studies.

I believe I am a good candidate for a college-level team because I am very coachable. I will listen to instructions, and I will do what my coach needs me to do to be successful.
