Hi my name is Maggie! As an honor roll student and a very dedicated athlete, I'm excited to express my interests in playing college soccer. I believe that my academic achievements, athletic ability and leadership experience makes me a unique and valuable candidate.
Balancing academics and athletics has always been a priority for me. As an honor roll student, I've learned the importance of my time management and discipline. Both of these skills are not just crucial academic success but also play an important role in my athletic goals. On the field, I play as a defensive midfielder, a role that challenges me to be vigilant and strategic. As a former quarterback himself, my dad calls me the quarterback of the field. My ball skills and passing ability with through-ball precision make me a dangerous threat at this position.
Due to my leadership, I have been selected captain of both my varsity soccer and lacrosse teams. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, teaching me how to lead by example, motivate my teammates and handle the pressure that come with this responsibility. I always stride myself on being hardworking and responsible. Whether in training, a game or academics, I give my best effort. My parents have instilled in me the importance of not allowing anyone to outwork me. I am looking forward to the opportunity of joining a college soccer team and am eager to bring my energy, skills, a dedication to a team on and off the field.
